FundPots ("we", "us") operates fundpots.com, a group fundraising and contributions platform for Uganda. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, phone number, organization name).
Collection and contribution records you create or submit through the platform.
Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information needed to operate and secure the service.
Payment references returned by our payment providers (for example MarzPay or Pesapal). We do not store full card numbers on FundPots servers.

How we use information

To operate pots, track contributions, and notify organizers.
To authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse.
To provide customer support and service communications.
To improve the product and monitor reliability.

Sharing

We share data with payment processors and infrastructure providers only as needed to complete transactions and run the service. We do not sell personal data. Public collection pages may show contributor names or amounts when the organizer enables those settings.

Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request account closure by contacting us.

Your choices

You can update profile details from your dashboard and contact us to request access or deletion of personal data where applicable under Ugandan law.
